I’ve been watching Star Trek, since 1965. I think that’s when the first one came out. I can’t quote seasons and episodes. But, when I check the info, I know exactly which show it is, big fan, for a long time. And it doesn’t matter what Star Trek series it is, I will know the show. I think whoever created or thought of Star Trek Discovery out did all the other Star Treks. Especially since, to me there seems to be rewriting and trying to change and then use stories from the original Star Trek. In the other series, it was done several times. But, Discovery, all original stories and very good stories. Which makes me ask, why are y’all ending it after only five seasons Are the writers burnt out. I hope not.. All of Discovery stories, in my opinion have been well written. And I’m no authority on great acting, either but I think whoever was responsible. Picked the best actors, that could work together and make this, the best Star Trek ever. And it’s going to live on, just like the original. But, I want to ask for me and all the Trekkies, especially the original O G Trekkies, that you not end it this season. Given us old Trekkie’s one or two more seasons. That’s probably all a few of us got. Anyway I love Discovery.And along with the original Star Trek, I think people will be enjoying Captain Kirk and Captain Burnham for another 158 years or more. Big fan for life. I just watched episode one. And I stopped in the middle of it to write the above. It just got good to me and I had to write y’all. No matter how bad I am at expressing my opinion. Anyway, it seems y’all did take something from another Star Trek. But, that subject was never brought up again on Generations or any Star Trek that followed. So, other than setting up the start of the season with what happened at the end of that episode in Generations. This will be all original. And I know and just seen how good this season is going to be. Again, would you please give us OG’s a couple more seasons. At least one more.
