John Oliver your bit on abortion was an abortion. HBO, you need to reflect on what you think is appropriate TV. You would yank off a comedian if one would hit on a more liberal topic. To try to turn abortion into a comedy routine is horrible and Oliver, you need to think about the reality of this issue and how it affects many people in the world. Whether you believe in the rights of women or the laws against abortion, the issue is not funny. John Oliver, look in a mirror and say the words you said about a fetus and think about it. If you believe those words were funny, you are a sick man. HBO, you need to put a few boundaries for you late night hosts. That bit was despicable, inappropriate, and demonstrated a lack of writing talent. The obvious politically partisan attack was horrible. Pick a topic that is funny, make fun of people who can defend themselves, not unborn babies. John Oliver that show was a sad moment for you, HBO, and our state of civility in the US. You should apologize to any audience that you have left.
