Great production by 7 Productions and great acting throughout but be aware of the hidden agenda of the creator Bevan Lee; if you expect a nice nostalgia piece of Australia in the 50's, you are mistaken - Bevan attacks every social more of Australian life back then and pushes his 'progressive' views onto the era. Bevan is a gay man, which explains the series obsession with pushing a homosexual agenda, along with feminism and other various changes that took place in the 60's and beyond. If you are a typical Guardian reader, you will love this but for those with more conservative values, you will do well to wear a mouthguard, to prevent you from grinding your teeth down..
