What a mind blowing Rock solid thriller. I just couldn't take my eyes from the story even for one minute. This is the first time I have read the complete story at a stretch and it was such an exhilarating experience. The finer nuances of the London City and it's mesmerizing streets and environment set as a back drop of the inner turmoil and passionate, determined pursuit of father Mr Vaidya to trace Shruthi, his missing teenager daughter against all odds simply in one word is 'SUPERB'. The smooth , fast paced and chilling way the narrative progresses from a well-knit NRI caring happy family to a 360 degrees turnaround of a tragedy-hit miserable-state lost disjoint family with father breathing with only aim and goal to find his missing daughter and a simple non-violent family man turning into a ruthless ferocious monster to bring the culprits to task, is simply out of this world. Sergeant Jenny is a character you would love and hate both but definitely voot for. The climax is strong and so emotional at the same time that the last final para makes you teary eyed with mixed emotions. To sum up , The Drive is truly a dark intriguing Immersive crime thriller woven intricately with an emotional family saga is what this book is all about. It's a Must Must read for all.
