Kitkat Krispie

For relaxing feel good entertainment this is the one! The setting is beautiful, the sunshine and the slow pace makes you feel like you are there. As for the characters, over each series we get to know them even more so that now we are part of this family. This series is a great Friday night, glass of 🍷 relaxation festival! The frustration is there are only a small number of episodes each time. I do hope there will be a Season 4.

I was a big fan of The Closer and was sad when it finished. Imagine my delight when I came across Major Crimes by accident on Amazon Prime. Sometimes sequels with key character changes disappoint but Major Crimes is the gift that keeps on giving. The series is so good due to the great plots, the strong team and the continuity throughout. The thread of Rusty's story that runs through the background and foreground of all the episodes ties the whole series together. Brilliant series, great actors!

Another great Canadian crime show. Not as pacey as Republic of Doyle, with a lot less humour, but its a slow burner. Great character interaction plus the on going tension between Sarah and Charlie, will they wont they? The bonus is the amazing scenery which is the chief protagonist in both Republic of Doyle and Hudson & Rex, the Canadian tourist board must be thrilled with all the great TV we have been watching during lock down as so many series have been filmed in Canada. Newfoundland is definitely on my bucket list.

Brilliant, quirky characters with the added bonus of a beautiful setting, lots of humour and great music! Have finally been able to watch the whole series, which was worth waiting for! The final episode left the viewer with so many questions, enough for an anniversary special. What did Wade and Z name their boy? (Harley Lavon Brick Kinsella but commonly knows as Junior) Were the Wilkes able to find a family heirloom to pass on to Junior Kinsella? Was Zoe able to get surgeon privilages at the hospital enabling her to keep her surgical skills sharp? Did Lavon and Lemon have children? What happened to Meatball and the Truitt boys? George and Annabeth's story, which I hope is a good one. What did Rose do after med school? Hang on a minute, what happened to all of the characters that made the town of Bluebell such a special place to be? So many people to love, so many people to want to know more about.

I know this is an old film but it is still relevant today when dealing with the whole minefield of professionals saying. It has a stellar cast, both male and female, combined with a strong script making it a joy to watch. The cast of females, who are the core of the film, is amazing - everyone a red carpet gem.

A brilliantly funny portrayal of a backstabbing industry. All of the key characters are beautifully portrayed form the devious Mathias through to the sarcastic, yet touchingly sensitive, Herve. Furthermore, wouldn't we all like Arlette in our lives? The guest stars were such good sports including the wonderful Sigourney Weaver who was a bigger player than the agents at A.S.K., topped with the memorable Lindy Hop scene! In the final episode Jean Reno's summing up of why he loved the agency was also a poignant reflection of the way society has changed particularly in the way we treat others in business. In my imagination there will be a client rebellion at STAR and the witch, Elise, will be taken down. Meanwhile, Andrea and Hicham will embark on a new project, perhaps a small agency providing a silver service for their exclusive mature clients - possible a division of the successful CAM.
