I would like more news and less fluff, though I appreciate the news that is presented. I think it's appalling when I hear a newscaster use such incorrect grammar as, "If you would've went back...." which I heard this morning during a piece on a Dunkin Donuts plant based item. It seems to me, a professional newscaster should be the model of correct use of the language. Know the correct verb conjugations, and, while I'm on the subject, the difference between subject, object, and reflexive pronouns.
