Meh. It’s faithful to the original in many ways which is what they were aiming for but if i wanted the original, i would play the original. Like cmon, all the very apparent problems in DP like the limited regional dex *cough* fire types *cough* that were fixed in platinum, SHOULD have been carried over. TM’s breaking too, that’s so annoying. I do like the art style though, i didn’t have a problem with that, i just wanted actually new mechanics from current gen. Like literally just play diamond and pearl on the DS and it won’t be very far off. But like with the art style there is still good things, like it’s a pokémon game so it’s gonna be fun and it’s gen 4, so sinnoh is still awesome even with its original flaws. so take this as you will, I would probably still buy it personally but just would have a different viewpoint on what i was expecting.
