This should not be called Landman. Sheridan should have done his research before calling this Landman. A landman only makes deals with the owner of the land like ranchers, Indian Tribes, ect.. If they don't agree then it goes to court. You only own the top soil, not the mineral rights. Landmen do not deal with cartels or rig hands. So this show is crap. I know what a Landman is, because my Dad was a Landman. It is a dangerous job with ranchers pissed off pulling guns on you, but they will end up losing in court. I know it is a show for entertainment, but at least have the Landman be a Landman and not a manager. Also, making it look like they have an accident or death every week is ridiculous. If that were the case that oil/gas company would be shut down. Gave it two stars only because I like Billy Bob.

Loved it!!! Finished it in one day. Very well done and can't wait for season two!
