From a movie stand point, the pacing was bad, the plot was too short looking at the end of the movie it would have been better to maybe show this whole movie in 20 minutes followed by showing her journey to Syria. She first searched for water after getting out then looked at the baby which makes 0 sense. From an emotional stand point, events similar to these likely did happen but note a couple of things, let us not simply say that all british or jewish people are evil, I have my issues with the state as the reason this war broke out was because Palestine was not asked for their agreement on the establishment of the Israeli state, which lead to the tragedy it is today where it is a constant struggle.
