Overall this was a great film and I loved the art style and effects that were in it. I loved the main characters danny, sam, charlie and the teacher and i found it funny how the relationships are so awkward and unnatural. Charlie was especially funny. I also loved all of the British references as I myself am British and all of the phrases used were very relatable. However, the whole bernadette family was highly annoying and i found them extremely woke and irritating. Bernadette herself put together an absolutely disgusting show that was so painful to watch and all of her woke comments were just infuriating. Then she tried to unhelpfully improve christmas lunch by helping all of the kids speedrun their way to diabetes and then include loads of boring activities after lunch. Also nobody has mentioned how annoying her voice is like dude get larynx surgery. Not only this but Evie is actually stupid. i get that she is 4 but still it doesn’t take a genius to work out not to walk out of the front door IN THE MIDDLE OF A BLIZZARD. Her cute demeanour does not make up the the fact that she is a total idiot and it doesn’t help how the 2 most irritating characters are in the same family. I did not appreciate their attemp to include a neurally diverse person that badly as it was just annoying. I did however appreciate all of the mentions about climate change as it is the biggest issue today and it is helping children understand how big of an issue it is. Overall this film is a fantastic film as long as you can suffer through EVERY McNut family scene.
