This was sooo bad. There are movies that don't provide an extensive amount of context or plot but still make it work,,, this is not one of those films. The acting was meh from most of the characters, especially the main character. This girl did not display the strength or confidence that you would expect from someone who's been trained since childhood so that was disappointing. The movie rushed to get to the killings but when they came it was all so underwhelming. They should've kept this one in the drafts

I read a review stating that this show was a waste of time which initially upset me, but after they explained why they gave such a low rating I ultimately agree BUT hear me out ... Seasons 1 & 2 are great but my God was Season 3 a let down and what do you know - the shows been canceled. If you're okay with being left on a cliffhanger then I totally recommend that you watch the show (only S1&S2), the concept of the show is very interesting old gods v.s. new gods but, as the review I referenced stated, it really is just a concept. There's never a major fight between the old gods and the new gods. You get glimpses of how powerful the gods are and the show does this VERRY well (especially with the old gods - just my opinion) but that's it! And there's never a war or major fight between the gods. This show is mainly one god Odin trying to recruit other old gods to fight with him (which he has a hard time doing) against the new gods. The show also offers backstories of various gods which is cool and also VERY well done but at the end of the day what's the point of all this if it doesn't go anywhere? Anyway, like I said seasons 1 and 2 *chef's kiss* (I'm literally re-watching it) they're wonderful, but season 3 is a huge let down and you're left with everything being unfinished which is very disappointing. Despite that, I still give it a 4/5 and recommend that you watch Season 1 & 2 (if you wanna watch Season 3 knock yourself out) P.S. lol I've seen a bunch of reviews where certain ppl - guess who - claim that season 2 is too heavy on the "social justice" and it literally is not. I'd gladly bet $100 that I know exactly which EPISODE and SCENES they're referring to. So if you're seeing those comments please don't let it deter you from watching the show.

honestly not sure why the ratings are so low. It's a good movie. I don't understand why people act as if every movie needs to be Oscar worthy lol. Anyways, like I said you should watch it

okay so the rating are hella low so I'm doing this to help give the matrix the recognition it deserves. u could definitely make ur case and argue that one of the three is better than the other and so on and so forth however, overall the trilogy is perfection. fight me. :)

This was so disappointing to watch, there was soo much potential and this is what we got? It honestly makes me sad that this film with amazing actors turned out so poorly. The film simply isn't up to par with the previous films even on its own, the movie was just not good. The best parts about the film were: 1) the original actors that were in the film (e..g: Keanu Reeves (Neo), Carrie-Anne Ross (Trinity), Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe), Lambert Wilson (The Merovingian/ the French guy etc.) 2) The snippets from previous Matrix films. Yes, that's it. You would think that the action scenes and graphics would be "better" since the first film came out in 1999 but no. There were a couple scenes where I thought I was watching a low budget Syfy movie. The whole film was underwhelming and I honestly believe that people leaving 5 star reviews are on drugs. If you're a Matrix fan don't watch this, please preserve the pleasant memories that you have. I'm about to go rinse my mind and watch the original movies. I cannot stress how disappointing this was, especially since we're probably not going to get another film (especially not one with the OG actors).

Unfortunately, 0 stars still isn't an option.
