(Spoilers). Such a great piece of film nostalgia. The film has a huge amount of contrast to the original and that’s what I love about it. In Idina’s song “Love Power”, as she perfectly harmonises our screens, we see the true magic of memories and nostalgia come to life as Morgan sees all of the memories made with Gissele and that’s what ties the movie up nicely in the end. The film has a beautiful message about memories being much more important than we think. I love the twist of Gissele being the Wicked step-mother, it makes the film almost comedic, but so so enjoyable to watch. Disenchanted was a wonderful sequel to the well known and beloved Enchanted, and I am thankful Disney has created such an outstanding sequel to the film
