Trey, Jon Benet was injured by her brother with the flashlight in the kitchen. He was mad at her for taking some of his pineapple pieces. Her skull was bashed in and although she was breathing it was decided by her parents to make it look like a botched kidnapping. On the phone call to Boulder police a child's voice could be heard. The parents were lying from that first call.
