Web Series Review: Agatha Christie's " Murder is Easy" streaming on Sony LIV!! Fancy a good old murder mystery.. fikar not , my amateur sleuths 😁 , Aunt Agatha is here once more to regale you with her amazing murder mysteries!! So here goes .... This is a standalone murder mystery set in 1954 . In the midst of the Nigerian independence struggle, a young black man ( Luke Fitzwilliam) travelling to London for work happens to meet an old lady in a train. As they start chatting, she tells him that she is going to London to meet the Scotland Yard Police to report a murder .. oops not one , but three & she knows who the perp is . But before she can tell our protagonist the name , she is killed. Having a few days to kill ( literally 😁) before he joins his new job , our hero decides to visit the lady's quaint lil village and solve the murder mystery. This series is very laid back without any adrenaline rush moments or fast paced action scenes!! Sab kuch aaraam araam se chalta hai .. till the murderer gets his act together and starts killing at a faster pace 😁. Koi toh pakdo mujhe is his desperate plea😊!! People who love Agatha Christie's Murder mysteries will enjoy this for sure . You might find it a bit slow, but be rest assured,it hits the bullseye eventually 🎯 . Going with 3/5 for this one .. Movie Review: Munjya ( A Horror/Comedy film ) screening in cinemas!! A young man's visit to his native village unveils a family secret and a vengeful spirit, the Munjya, a cursed Brahmarakshas who wants to get married to satisfy his unfulfilled desire. The protagonist along with his man Friday must find a way to fight and protect himself & his love from Munjya's clutches. After delivering great films like Faster Fene & Zombivali , director Aditya Sarpotdar has a winner on his hands straight away with Munjya !! The horror comedy genre is a very tricky one to get right & if there is a bit of oonch neech in the execution , things can really fall flat. The prime example being Roohi . Fortunately for the makers & us , the audience this film is a treat to watch. The cinematography is excellent in creating an eerie ambience important for the infusion of some tension building moments !! A special mention to the VFX team who have done a fabulous job in ensuring that the digitally created Munjya blends in seamlessly with the real characters without looking fake and out of place !! A strong script with well etched out characters, along with a moments of genuine horror mixed with a heady dose of humor at the right time will keep audiences engaged all throughout!! Meticulous attention has been paid to the visual aesthetics and BGM which creates a positive impact on the end product. The balance of horror and comedy has been absolutely spot on ! Very few films have been able to achieve this. Kudos to the director and makers for their efforts!! The lead pair Abhay Verma & Sharwari Wagh deliver stellar performances . Mona Singh and Suhas Joshi and Ajay Purkar too have played their parts well . All in all Munjya is not a heavy film and a grt watch for people who have enjoyed films like Stree & Zombivali !! Going with 3.5/5 for this one !!
