Brilliant, I really love this movie. It really saddens me that black and coloured people had to grow up with racism being the way of life around them. It angers me that people of colour had to somehow prove themselves just so they and their kids could fit in. I mean if a Klansman could change the way he thinks, then really anyone can.

I felt so emotional and heartbroken for Kalief… it’s seriously haunts me to this day that some person had to go through this amount of pain in life. In this horrible and unjust world. As a society, I don’t think we can ever make this right, but we can try and bring about change for the next generation. Get your tissues ready for this one. Heart wrenching.
