I just started watching this show a few weeks ago so I have a lot of catching up to do. Not sure how much more of it I can take though. Like some of the other comments, the mother's character, Ms. Alice, is a bit too much. She almost sounds like Madea at times with her laugh. The character is not funny in my opinion, just extremely vulgar. It's a bit excessive. The character Pamela is like an immature dumb childish blonde. Out of the main characters I like John and Tom's roles. At least we see their work in progress. I am still in Season 2, so I am hoping things change. If a "Mike" exists, I wouldn't want to meet him. The actor Phillip Mullings, Jr. plays the role very well as a troubled black man. I have nothing positive to say about the character Bill. His character is not needed. I really hope I can continue watching this. I have been having too many SMH moments while watching.
