I do enjoy the series, but the fighting between Cas and Poppy is really annoying. It's like you think they have resolved it then Poppy starts a fight again. It's toxic, she just runs away, stabs him and they bang. It's incredibly annoying. I skipped majority of the book after that. Read I think the last couple of chapters and read the next book. I did enjoy Book 3 because Poppy decided she wants him and then it dives deeper into the wars, and her power etc. The whole marriage thing was weird though, she like didn't want him at all and the next minute it was like, "Oh, actually let's do that." Threescore with Cas, Keiran and her would of been cool though. 🤣👍
