I didn't read the book so won't compare. I binge watched the series and thought the overall story was ok, nothing ground breaking. Jennifer Garner's character is terrible. Why did they portray her as a dumb individual whose facial expressions always make her look as if she's taking a dump... :-) not to mention (SPOILER ALERT!!) her leaving a sack with 500K+ U$ under the bed and losing Bailey as if she is a set of keys.....anyway it's entertaining up to a certain extent.
