This film I believe displays not only a deep look into the mind and life of a true Gemius, but also offers great insite on the develpoment process and backbiting that we still find in todays world. One gets a real feel of the mental struggles of knowing that millions will not only die from thier work, but that millions more would be safed. Powerful messge about courage and responsablity. The Cinematography and audio where breath taking. The acting was real and very believable. The film is long but doesnt feel long at all it is a worthwhile see. Downsides: This is a story that few know anything about, and is well told. It is a story of the struggles of a genius and the development of a world changing weapon. There are several nude and hard core sex scenes that really have no place in this movie. It is blatatly clear that this scenes where there only to hold audiance interest at slow moving moments. While the female is very attractive, this was not a good fit for this film. Language: I lived throw some of this days or at least very near and people in the 40s and 50s did NOT use language like "KNOCKED UP or the "F'" word in every other sentence. It would have been a much better film without the potty mouth, but I guess hollywood talks this way. Good film I give it My rating of a 7 because it tells an unfamiliar story in US history.
