I have this very very very emotional connection with the movie and book.
It is very intellectual though...like very mature and subtle...and it's, the book, is like one of those summer days you want to be.... silent..yet loud and jumpy and completely there...to be there in the day...
It's like a piece of art... for which i cried way too much...the only other book tht made me cry and i genuinely thank Andre Aciman for that....i couldn't have been any more grateful of him for writing this masterpiece... Although i cannot wait to read the next part but i just cannot convince myself that this story is over and there is another one already made... it's the lost love that is always with you no matter where you go or who you are with and i guess that that's-- that's- what keeps people going sometimes and that (well this is what I think...tht..tht love isn't just romantic it can be any-love any love can make you feel safe and sound)
And i haven't read that book more than once... because well the feeling of knowing that when I'll go back to it... EVERYTHING will be the same about it..the words, the feeling, the smell of it...and yet I'll be the one that's changed...
I watched the movie first...but thank the gods i did... because i wouldn't have been able to imagine that pure beauty all of it on my own. And the songs...the touch of Sufjan Stevens made it even more delicate!
