This movie feels more like a statement from the executives and less like a natural progression of the story. I mean, Disney dismissing George Lukas’s version of the trilogy was a massive mistake, in my opinion. There were good parts (visual effects, the sacrifice via light-speed kamikaze), although the bad parts (Luke’s reason for exiling himself, the fight scenes/choreography, Finn’s arc, among many things) kinda ruined the movie/trilogy.
