Watching the Curse of Oak Island tries one's patience and endurance. While I am intrigued by the historical artifacts being unearthed, the narration is irritatingly repetitive. "A (fill in the blank), found in/at (fill in the blank)? Could this be evidence of (fill in the blank)?" - over and over, ad nauseam. Dear Mr. Narrator, try being a little creative. The show is the best example I know of how to stretch a 3-night documentary into what is, thus far, a 9-season marathon. I record it then fast forward through all the minutia until there is discussion about items that are found and analyzed. A 1-hour show can thusly be condensed into 15 minutes of something substantive. I do like the "bobby dazzlers" and "top pocket finds".
