Unfortunately did not enjoy it and found some of the jokes quite disturbing, the jokes about Muslim religion were upsetting, perpetuating stereotypes about Pakistani culture. The film about Pakistani culture did not have enough (if any?) significant input from Pakistani creators, I felt the messaging of the trailer was quite contrary to the message portrayed by the plot. Sajal Aly’s talent was wasted I’m not sure why they didn’t let her character speak full sentences. I found the high reviews did not prepare me for the film and I am unsure where the praise comes from I guess you can’t always trust reviews. One of the five star google reviews here is actually about the Tina Turner movie which has the original title
