This was one of three games I always rented at my local video store before they went out of business and were replaced by a Little Caesar's (the others being Spider-Man: Web of Shadows and Epic Mickey). When they did shut down, they sold all the movies and games they could. This game and Web of Shadows were the two games I bought. As a result, Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels (and Web of Shadows) holds a very special place in my heart.
It's basically Mortal Kombat: Star Wars Edition. It has a decent selection of characters. I do have a problem with the name, though. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels." That is a lot to say, or in my case, type. Overall, I'd say that it is worth playing, although I am biased due to the nostalgia goggles that are currently covering my eyes.
The following rankings will be on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best.
Presentation - 8. It's a simple game, and it presents itself as such.
Graphics - 5.5. The game was made in late 2008, so the graphics haven't aged very well.
Sound - 10. Think of a sound effect from any Star Wars movie, and it's in here.
Gameplay - 8. Like I said above, it's Mortal Kombat, but with Star Wars. The story mode is comprised of the movie and a few episodes from the show, so it really feels like you are playing through the show.
Lasting Appeal - 7. There are tons of different challenges, and if you complete enough of them, you can unlock certain characters.
Overall - 8. It is a solid game that is worth picking up and playing at any time.
