The film story is close to my heart, because it illustrates the fate of many immigrants chasing the dream of a better life, leaving their country. The plot – two teenage boys a girl from Guatemala, are heading towards the border of the US through Mexico, but along the way, they lose the girl. She is kidnapped by drug traffickers. The two young men cross the border with the US and get to work in a factory. The moral of this story in my opinion is that – sometimes chasing our dreams and reaching them, we discover that all the hardship we went through is not worth it.

I was 15y.o. when I watched for the first time the greatest film made by Moldova (as a former soviet state). This is a story of love between Rada, a gypsy young woman and a horse thief named Zobar. The fell in love, but as they had a nomad lifestyle, they believed that a marriage would take away their independence. Beautiful dances and costumes. Everything in this film is great, decorations, actors including nomad Roma people, a talented director and great music. I strongly recommend it.
