I wanted to like this movie but it was incredibly long and so very boring.
The story itself has merit but in the hands of Christopher Nolan it was confused and misguided, sometimes pretending to be a documentary, and other times an action drama.
The music was too loud, quite distracting and ill fitting for most scenes. It also made it difficult to hear the dialogue.
Robert Downey Jr. was fantastic, and Emily Blunt good as always. Cillian Murphy lacks charisma and was unconvincing.
In my opinion, this movie should have been a documentary - an hour and a half, tops! In all honesty, it was quite painful to sit through the whole 3 hours.
