I have no idea what this film was all about.
Its about everything without being about anything.
We have a single father but its not a story about single parents.
We have surrogacy but its not about that either.
We have a gay friend but its not about him.
Then we have a girl who runs a kid's toy store but hates kids. Yes, her words. She hates kids. Not dislikes, not that she finds kids irritable. She hates them.
And Megh, who we are constantly reminded is a father and very fatherly, for some weird reason falls for her head over heels at first sight.
Why Megh falls in love with Brishti is a total mystery.
Now I admit I would have been interested in this conflict. A guy who loves kids falls for a girl who hates them and how their relation finally blooms.
Interesting, but no. The conflict is the girl has a Fiancé. And through a series of extremely epic idiotic chain of events starts living next door to Megh.
So basically, this is a cliched love triangle.
But to make the love triangle even less interesting, the Fiancé turns out to be one of those cliched NRIs.
