As fans of Slow Horses, we loved Black Doves. We laughed at the little gems of dark humour, the style of filming and the plot twists. It was made to be easily digested and enjoyed. Acting was excellent all round, even if it did take the first episode to get used to seeing Keira Knightly in that type of role. She pulled it off well. Loved the Sam character and looking forward to the next series.

So badly written, cheaply filmed, poorly acted and with so many plot holes and unexplained and illogical scenes that we just had to watch it until the end in case it got better. It didn't. Truly awful. Samuel L Jackson must have been skint to take part in this nonsense.
