Al Pacino is excellent in this fictionalization story based on the true story of Operation Paperclip. It gets silly at times which detracts from the serious nature of the story. After WW II the US government brought over 1600 captured Nazi scientists and provided them with jobs and new lives in a secret and controversial program. I’d have preferred that story be told in a more serious manner. As presented most viewers will take it as pure fiction Afterall who would believe that these horrible people would have been treated as heroes rather than criminals.
