I loved this series. Watched it when it first came on and watched it again when Showtime re-ran the entire two seasons, even though I already knew (spoiler alert) the sad fate of Benny the Mailman.
But I'll never understand TV ratings. There's banal garbage that gets high ratings, yet something clever and well-performed like I'm Dying Up Here doesn't get good ratings. I don't get it.
I hope Jim Carrey and the cast and crew all realize that there are some of us who truly loved and appreciated the show. They should be proud to have it on their resumes. Thanks.
