I always loved Dreamworks animation and creativity. I personally feel that critics tend to favor the larger producers over some of the others. I think Sinbad was a great movie. Some of the plot was predictable, but still very nicely done! I also think that the antagonist needed a different voice, and perhaps a little bit more character development in the beginning, maybe showing them when they were younger and when he came back to save his friend, I think we should have seen more of a dramatic entry preluded with their journey back being pressed for time. But I think it’s hard to plot the complex story to fit in such a short time. I do like the ending though.

I normally don’t rate movies. But I didn’t mind this movie. It wasn’t like exciting, but more realistic (so to speak). Really makes me want to watch what I say to my kids. Negative words really do cut deep and destroy people...no matter how right you are. People just need to know that being alive is such a gift.
