Went into it expecting a campy unfunny film at the beginning, got one of the most heartfelt movies I've seen in a while. Beautiful ending, unexpected and good plot twist, some great emotional beats. Beneath the 'cringe' exterior, it's a really sweet film. Would be a 5 out of 5 without some of the cringe, but it really does have some insanely funny moments like the scene with the medium and it is somewhat self aware in some aspects. Give it a chance!
