It is not very good! Sure the animation is cool and some of the jokes work and I'm all for adding new villains to the mix, but replacing shredder and the krang, to of the franchises most important villains with Baren Draksis is just the worst move. Some of you may say he's cool but to me he just looks rediculous. In this show April is black and sassy, and uses slang how many of you have seen that before, is just makeing her a different race automatically suppose to make it fresh and original because it's not. Some of the changes are flat out insulting. They made Baxter stockman a child because I don't know, gave him the motive of wanting people to donate to his Chanel because I don't know, and perhaps worst of all they changed his last name to stockboy because I DON'T KNOW!!!! Oh wait they did have a reason, to have a joke about it being ironic that his job is as a stockboy, not only is this joke overused and unfunny but it doesn't even sound like a real name! I hate the way the turtles have an overbite and how their heads are all misshapen, how they all act like Michelangelo, how huge Raph is, how they made wise master splinter into the rude but talented so you just have to deal with him master splinter, and how they had the turtles go back to wearing unconvincing disguises that would never fool anyone ever.

The monster is only on screen for a split second and never appears again. No human dies, and theirs a 20 minute scene of the couple sitting on the porch and talking without any cuts. The monster storyline is NEVER RESOLVED!!!!

This adaptation is good but it could’ve been great. The visuals are amazing, the pop culture references hit hard and never shy away from thier potential, the characters are likeable, the emotional moments hit right at home, and it gives a very good message that humanity shouldn't be able to completely loose sight of reality because reality is what matters. Now to be fair, it is NOT AS GOOD as the book. Just from reading the first two chapters you can tell that the book is better. For one thing, it goes much much much more in depth of how awful Wade’s life is, and how unfair and impoverished his home life is. His Aunt took him in for extra food vouchers from the government, keeps the food vouchers leaving him to feed himself, and steels his valuables and says that’s how he pays rent. It makes it much more clear how much the OASIS means to him as his only escape and what the Easter egg hunt could do for him since he won’t have anything to do after graduating high school. It also makes it clear that Wade is not as handsome as his avatar in the real world. He has acne and the diet of government provided food vouchers full of corn starch and sugar make him obese. He also has a crush on Art3mis not by seeing her do cool stuff in a race, but through her sense of humor and personality over her blog on the OASIS, and was well aware that his crush on her was ill-advised because he didn’t know who she was.

You’ve probably heard countless negative reviews for this show, so I’ll make it brief. First reason people hate this show. It’s a Crunchyroll original series. Crunchyroll’s advertises itself as a fundraiser that donates a percentage of paid subscriptions to underpaid animators in Japan, not to fund new shows. Second problem, the first “trailer” showed more of who was working on it and tried using its “diverse” work space to sell the show when NO ONE CARES. Also one of the developers made several public tweets speaking out against men, one of which said “kill all men.” This is what happens when the type of feminists people hate are put incharge of making a show. Next problem, the animation is not great. It’s not awful, for a studio’s first series it almost looks passable, until you realized that a majority of the backgrounds and objects in both the back and foregrounds are compressed images. Also the character’s movements are very stiff. Most of the time, only their heads, arms and legs move. That may sound like enough, but when compared to other shows, the characters in high guardian spice move like animatronics. The show never explains what a guardian is, or what the enemy they’re being trained to defend against is. The plots are very uninteresting. New magic is instant and easy and serves as a metaphor for progressivism, and old magic requires lots of practice and is a metaphor for conservatism. It totals into meaning absolutely nothing. The characters are very boring, with no core purpose, or defining personalities. Thyme is supposed to be independently mean but learns time and time again that teamwork is good, and is back to normal by the next episode. The only entertaining characters are a short black kid whose adorable and funny, a giant muscular cat man, a stoner with a voice actor with no other credits but makes everything this character says funny, and snapdragon who is supposed to be a transgender character and is the only interesting main character out of all of them because he acts like a real person. But then they mess up his story by revealing that their professor is also transgender too early and not to snapdragon, but to the main character Rosemary which means absolutely nothing when it’s revealed to her and just makes it annoyingly predictable when it’s revealed to Snapdragon when it’s revealed that his professor can relate to wanting to be someone else. Also the villain is an idiot, who gives an obvious turncoat his only weapon after one line saying she’s seen the light.

Good god this movie is hideous. I get that these are supposed to be early stages of humans when they were closer related to primates, but everyone just looks so hideous. The English version cuts out a lot of scenes that would’ve made the movie slightly better, like the villains’ motivation, and the explanation that our main character, Edward had his hand broken as a baby and that’s why he always has it in his loin cloth, but instead we see him with his hand in his pants all the time, including when he’s chasing a female ape. Edward is a horrible main character. He ditches the ape who raised him from infancy and saved him as a baby right after they lose there home to chase a female ape who makes it clear she wants nothing to do with him, and burns her with a flaming stick for fun.

I’m just gonna blurt it out, this movie sucks. The plot is about a father forcing his son to fallow his dreams instead of his son’s and learning a valuable lesson to lighten up. How many movies have you seen already with this plot? If you put it side by side with hook it rips almost everything off. Next problem is the whole removal of Pepé la pew for previously staring in cartoons repeatedly hugging and kissing a female cat that doesn’t like him, but they have Drudges from a clockwork orange, and Rick and Morty making a cameo. Both of which I can not stress enough, are not for kids. I think I should address the elephant in the room. Censoring Lola Bunny. I know their have been other incarnations of Lola that are less sexy, but this is supposed to be a sequel to the first space jam, but they still change her to look less sexy despite it still being related PG. They did this to show that the character doesn’t need to be sexy to be strong and independent. Why can’t they just be both? Wonder Woman is both and everybody loves her. It’s not like this idea is even original. Brien of Tarth from game of thrones anyone? Something else I don’t like is LeBron almost never stops complaining to the Looney Tunes to play like he plays, even though we clearly already saw in the first movie, that they play basketball just fine. The villains motivations are LeBron not wanting to be a marketing tool, so he ends up kidnapping everyone watching the basketball game he challenges LeBron to, and says they’ll all be stuck in their forever if he looses. LeBron’s son Don is also a problem, he wants to be a game developer instead of a basketball player which sounds alright, except he’s gotten one developed at the age of 12. I don’t think this movies writer knows how game developing works. Another pet peeve of mine is Bugs and Lola’s relationship is completely forgotten about. In the Looney Tunes Show which I know a lot of people didn’t like, Bugs and Lola’s relationship is cute, sweet, and funny, and this movie was a chance to introduce that to this Looney Tunes universe since there was a longer running time than the first movie. But instead the big kiss at the end was just forgotten about and she’s not special to Bugs in any way.

Why cinemas, why did you have to keep screwing Ralph Bakshi over? First you kick him off the sequel to his film with the nine lives of fritz the cat, then you make him start over and self fund his movie for hey good lookin, and then you make him direct this. Now this movie tries to be a more mature version of who framed roger rabit but since that movie could already be enjoyed by children and adults alike and this movie lacks the heart and funds put into who framed roger rabbit you end up with a really awful ripoff of who framed roger rabbit. The animated sections never look or feel like part of the live action environment. So for starters it revolves around an alternate reality enhabbited by cartoons, and thier's a released prisoner who drew a very popular comic called coolworld witch is also the alternate reality. Are we given any form of explanation fo how any of that's possible? No. The members of coolworld also call human's noids and thier apparently illegal in coolworld and Brad Pitt is encharge of finding them and also calls them noids even though he's also human. Also the released prisoner "Jack" also killed the man his wife cheated on him with witch we're suppose to forget about the moment it's mentioned as if it was a cheap throw away gag. So when this berlesk dancer named Hollywood has sex with Jack she becomes human some how and is able to enter the real world. Thier's also one joke were human Hollywood looks above the roof of a car wile a mechanic looks inside and they keep doing it back and forth, it's sad a joke this childish was in a movie directed by the guy who created the first x rated cartoon. Jack also somehow turns into a cartoon superhero to stop Hollywood who's unleashed cool world on the real world and isn't even voiced by the same actor anymore. None of the logic is explained by the way. It’s not explained how humans come in and out of cool world, or why the characters sometimes turn into random cartoon characters when they’re in the real world. So afterwards Brad Pitt's character get's killed and apparently if you're killed by a cartoon you come back as a cartoon somehow. So this wasn't Bakshi's fault he wrote the original skript as a hard R rated animation live action horror movie about the love child of a human and a cartoon who sets out to take revenge on his father who abandoned him and finds that he's an abomination that can't exist in eather worlds, witch I feel would have been so mutch better than this but instead he was given a new skript by two other writers after being given the job to direct. So this movie is an abomination and I'm glad that it was the last time Ralph Bakshi was screwed over.

What the juice, you hear that along with a million other stupid lines no teenager would ever say once or twice in every single episode. That docs this show two stars. Next problem, Randy and Howard are kinda jerks. This show has kids turning into monsters when they feel depressed which is a real problem, but Randy doesn’t ever help them with their problems when they get bullied or laughed at. In one episode Howard actually does the bullying, and Randy apologizes to Howard for encouraging him to be a mean judge, but neither of them apologize to the kids they got to cry infront of the rest of the school. Another episode has Howard smash his sister’s guitar during her song in a battle of the bands competition for no reason, and another with Randy sitting with outcasts in school and bonding with them to find that they’re actually cool people with their own problems, but the episode ends with him abandoning their table after they get humiliated and turned into monsters before being beaten so he can sit at a better table. The least he could do was share the good table with them, there was only him and Howard sitting at the good table.

This is one of the worst shows nickelodeon has ever made. One of the characters is called Munchy. That’s the worst name for a character ever. What’s worse, is that his only quirks are being loud, and eating. One of the running gags is him shouting butts repeatedly, that’s how stupid they think the audience is. Nickelodeon, stop using teenagers to entertain children, children aren’t entertained by teenagers, they’re entertained by cartoons. Not once did this show ever make me laugh. Not once did the acting ever convince me these where real people, not once did one of these characters come off as interesting people.
