Was the 50 year wait worthwhile? I believe so. With Peter Jackson's master touch and sensitivity, all that was missing Is fulfilled. No more cheap and cheesy opinions when it's all in front of us in full and scratch-free colour and perfect quality sound. I'm a 1st generation Beatles fan and couldn't wish for anything better (except perhaps an even longer extended edition on Blu-Ray). A fine madness.

Almost every character is irritating and unlikeable. I love all star trek shows but this one is by far the most difficult for me and my adult family. Has a strong sense of make-it-up-as-we-go-along. Not in a good way either. Oh well.
