Dark, depressing, confusing plot. The constant darkness hides the physical landscape and causes a feeling of being just lost in a never ending swirl of hopelessness. The pace is glacial, pun intended. They tried too hard for mysteriousness and wound up with a lot of boring scenes that don’t connect with the underlying plot, which could have been interesting if done differently.
