It was wonderful. Excellent acting, intriguing story. Clearly, Andrew Davies did Jane Austen a great honor.
But the fact it is not going to return to PBS after such a cliff-hanger ending to the first season is incredibly disappointing! They "didn't get the audience they expected" the first time? Then show it again and see what happens.
It was very cruel to show half a Jane Austen story and then just let it go away.
