I was watching At Issue this morning and I couldn’t believe the elitism of all panel members in regards to the carbon tax increase. They ridiculed the Premier’s of this country against it that actually see just what a struggle it is for the people making minimum wage or just above. Rent is twice what it was 2 years ago. Car insurance has doubled, groceries have doubled and this is partially due to the carbon tax. The fuel used to make the product then the fuel used to manufacture the product then the fuel used to transport the product and finally the fuel used to keep the store running are all carbon taxed!! You arrogant elites sit in your warm house and take large planes to travel while the working class, especially the low income earners are on the brink of starvation. Wake up and pull your heads out of your behinds!! You are a disgrace to the rest of us hard working Canadians that are struggling!! If this carbon tax actually did something to decrease emissions you may have an argument but it’s collected and then we have a huge office full of employees redistributing rebates that don’t come close to the amount we pay!! Keep in mind you arrogant Toronto based elitists that we in the rural areas don’t have transit, we actually have to drive to work!! I used to watch At Issue when it actually was for the people but now just a bunch of entitled rich people who are so out of touch with the common person in this country! Time to get rid of CBC!!
