This was a fantastic book about Josh's life in poverty in Haiti and his harrowing boat trip to Miami as a refugee. He was always positive, never giving up and kept smiling. Because of his happy personality and hard work, he was noticed by people who helped him get jobs and a place to live. Now he works as a custodian at a Pittsford Middle School in Pittsford, NY. He also has his own lawn service business. It's a very heart-warming story.
