If you view this movie as just a purposely camp film about a mad woman, then it serves no other purpose than camp exploitation. Careful consideration into the woman's motives beyond her madness, is what gives the film it's subtle wonder.

Masterpiece from open to close. The visual equivalent to a perfect circle. Dynamic performances & a fresh take on predator mythology.

Yes we can say it is unlikely, perhaps predictable despite the twist. However it is the lead actress Sydney Sweeny's performance as an obsessive that manages to still come across as an innocent, that makes the film work.
