Saw something about Pacino and Hoffman considered for the main character because they resembled him and then thought was it based on a true story? First saw the movie release in 1975 and just had to brush up on the plot. Never liked the Title but a great movie portraying a crazy day of comedy and drama - of laughs and fear - of hope dangling in front of failure - directed almost as if you were there.
