Don’t bother! Rubbish! Not a patch on the original 1989 telemovie of the same name. If you want real chills in the form of English gothic horror, then you must see the original. Both versions leaned heavily on Jack Clayton’s brilliant “The Innocents” but the telemovie of The Woman in Black takes the cake. Proof that big budgets and boy-wizards doesn’t necessarily mean success.
