Fantastic movie! From an academic standpoint, it shows how human nature is influenced by our environment. We're all Chappie in the beginning. We wish to be heroes, we are curious and eager to learn. It's no until we experience suffering that we begin acting in immoral ways. From a cinematic standpoint, the ability to make the audience feel empathy for a "machine" and understand it's pain and confusion at life is spot on. I highly recommend this film to everyone!
