I still remember when I started reading THE KITE RUNNER , one of my friend warned me that this book will break your heart… And I was so sure about that because I’ve read A thousand splendid suns prior to this. KHALED HOSSEINI books will literally break your heart… And as expected this book really made me cry like a child or you can say like a baby… I loved this book a lot but, i will probably never read it again, because it’ll break my heart apart again. but I'm glad that I did read it once. This story begins with Amir and his friend Hassan and their childhood and then the aftermath of the Russians when they took over Afghanistan. The story of two boys bonded by more than just friendship. I won’t summarise the story much… because you’ll loose the actual interest of reading this book… and I really don’t want that to happen… just read this book once in your life and you’ll understand the real meaning of friendship, love, emotions, and heartbreak! You’ll also understand the real sufferings of Afghanistan. This book is just so so real. I will strongly recommend this book!
