It was nominated for the 1988 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and won five Goya Awards including Best Film and Best Actress in a Leading Role for Carmen Maura. Offbeat crazy and worthwhile comedy!

This movie is extremely well written, acted and thought provoking in many dimension. Movie is such a pleasure to the eyes(excellent cinematography ). My one of the favourite movie.

Love doesn't need the age to prove it! The film is about a young postal worker who falls in love with a mature woman that she lives in adjacent apartments.He spies on her through a telecscope and finally declares his love. A short film about love is an expanded film version of part of the Dekalog (polish series)! it's a contemplation movie with a meta cinematic level and also a sublime art with mixed feelings of love and emotions. The emotions were widely played by the actors! Krzysztof grabs the auidence through this movie and did a justice to their heart of art! Slow,moody and stylised film! His notable work Dekalog, The double life of veronique and Three colors trilogy!

The movie is about a very ordinary man(karim) living in outside of Teharan. Karim works in an ostrich farm and he is fired because one of the ostrich escapes. After that he faces new problem in his personal life. The struggle of common man is beautifully narrated by director. Very simple and small film a wide range of emotions. Rezanaji deserve an applause for his splendid performance and the other actors also done their job perfectly. Wonderfull background music by hosseinalizadeh.

The story revolves around the couples whose kid is suffering from heart problem that is gradually getting worse and he will die if he isn't operated but the operation is too expensive and they can't afford even the insurance company won't pay for it. As a father he is trying to save his son but in running out of money a father faces with lots of twist and ended with mess this is where the plot thickness. The plot bonding is perfect and without script gaps with good acting and very well balanced emotions. The cast is very promising and did their job perfectly. Director portraits the character steadily. A good movie is recommended for all real movie lovers.

It is a movie in black and white that takes place in paris during the 1950's.That ending was the beginning of a new era but what strikes in this movie is how intimate it is. Its a melancholy picture of misdirected adolescence. Very well acted throughout with naturalistic performances from the main players. Francois Truffauts debut was a masterpiece.Special applause to Jean pierre Leaud. Received numerous awards also!
