This was a great movie. I really commend the producer's because so often you see a black mom who brings in a boyfriend and the child and the mother is abused. I am glad that type of stereotypical situation was not portrayed. This movie was a heartfelt tear jerker. Happy and sad tears. I wish it would have ended differently but overall an amazing movie!

Really enjoyed this movie with my toddler and teenager. It started kind of slow, but definitely picked up and became more interesting with music and comedy.
