It's good. It's not War and Peace or Anna Karrinina, or Moby Dick, in pacing, character, scope, profundity, or similarly epic sizeed book, at least so far (what is?). In fact, I'd rank it just below good Stephen King. I just learned I'm only 1/3d through it. I shall continue. I hope this book doesn't turn out like that crazy long John Irving book I read years ago was: a death match.
