Personally this album was a then and now of my life musically. Callicho being an extraordinary piece that's taken me a year to fully appreciate. To then give to others as my sorrow for the pain and grief that I've put people through in the past year. As in it's repeated melody anything altered is a butterfly effect on a more emotional scale.
The first piece "Callicho" was made in 2019 on an iPhone 6 in Garageband
I was really taking my first steps in terms of composition.
Abbie C however was composed this year using Garageband for mac by the Iconic "Soft Piano" by Spitfire LABS.
By now I've made dozens of pieces on Garageband for iOS but musically know little of Western Theory hence my
Fear to leave C major.
Abbie C has more story to it not just by its "inverted" melody but also by the little butterfly changes in each repetition which express the aching for change in the character's life. (its a story of 1 with 1 perspective hence it being monophonic)
It's quite mundane theoretically but once understood emotionally its simply amazing.
