I’m a caseworker at a federal re-entry center (half way house) and can say these types of characters break my heart and give me hope. Some make it out and some don’t. There is faith here but this film encapsulates those that don’t make it out. It’s hard to watch but for those that have no idea what realities there are out in the world, it may give you empathy for those who are not as fortunate
