With the cost of precription drugs these days, this could be a good resource. While not a replacement for a doctors visit, it is an asset for basic care for colds and minor issues. I once made a 'cold cure' mix, following the information in this book, that really kicked my cold in the rear end. I had to quit loaning it out to friends, because I never got it back.
