The graphics was stunning, hands down, great work as always. My concern is that the plot could have been told in a shorter time span, The story could have been deeper as well and could have been more substantial [SPOILER ALERT: yes, it may be true that it was in the point of view of school children which was definitely portrayed, but the story could have had more of "that stuff" you know what I mean? After my first time watching, I know that there's a really big lesson or a hidden meaning about what happened on the final half of the show, I just can't find what it is, even if there is, it's kinda takes too long to know what it is, I do have an initial theory about what the hidden meaning is, but I'm not quite satisfied with what I have. I also like how the ending is open ended and could lead to different interpretations such as "they both died/drowned at the end" or "they were successful at their kakeochi" etc. but despite that, its hard to connect it with the story as a whole. But despite that, the plot wasn't bad, its good in its own way] Overall, the movie wasn't necessarily a bad movie, it just so happen that it was hyped and there were expectations specially from the producers, it's definitely not a bad movie, but its not as good as the "cream of the crop", There's a lot of room for improvement but above all it was k.
